The inspiration for this video comes from Hatomugi's ASMR recordings made years ago with a Tascam DR40X (from ‪@TASCAMUSA‬ ) Listening to them was a truly heavenly experience, their deep and resonant tones completely captivated me. The way the microphone picked up the sounds created a unique, deeply soothing resonance in the back of the brain. After trying out over a dozen different microphones, none could match the gentle, rich, and comfortable sensation offered by the TASCAM DR40X.
