Hi. Yep, it's me, I'm still here. Hope you're all doing well. This cover turned out to be a lot more ambitious and time-consuming than I ever thought it would be. I'm actually really proud of how the harmonies and ad-libs turned out, so I hope it resonates with people on some level. I tried to put my own spin on it wherever I could.

I first got inspired way back when I found a "sad version" of the song by Moonlight Records on YT. It totally changed the vibe of the song, and it made me think of a struggling, one-side relationship, possibly abusive and traumatic... where someone is deeply depressed, but ultimately trapped in a toxic cycle. Wait, that just got WAY too deep, my bad lolol

P.s. I did try a more powerful/forceful vocal, but honestly it felt out of place and didn't fit the instrumentation or mood of the song. That's why I added more ad-libs. Gotta love a breathy tone~
