Tips
have some duck tape (gaffer tape) handy to immediately bind your roll of expanding foam tape after you've cut off what you need, as otherwise the whole role will expand so you can't reuse it.
choose your tape carefully. You want it to be just narrower than the gap you're filling so you can easily slide it into the gap and then leave the tape to expand and adhere to one side of the gap
