In the Emigrant Wilderness lies a remote, obscure mountain peak known as Kennedy Peak. On June 22, 2024, I embarked on a quest for its summit, leaving from the Kennedy Meadows trailhead and reaching my campsite at Kennedy Lake. After battling mosquitos, horse people, and a precarious ridgeline, I found my way to this grand summit and made it back to civilization to tell the tale.
