This weeks video is part two of a quick trip to Yorkshire to investigate the limestone pavements and to photograph the beautiful lone trees growing out of them. I am in the able company of Garry Sugden who takes me on a whistle stop tour of the local photography sites while we discuss an upcoming workshop that we are going to run together. More details on my website.
We begin on the limestone pavement that sits beside the Ribble Viaduct. Although I don't usually like shooting in the middle of the day heavy rainclouds and approaching storm turned the light into an epic, dark imposing scene from your favourite action movie. It was blowy as well.
We then moved onto Winskill Stones where some of Garry's late friend Graham (or Gator) has his ashes scattered. The light was almost...almost biblical. Go and check out some of my best images from this year, they're all at the end.
