A lifelong singer, BROOKLYN received elite vocal training since a young age from the vocal coach who taught Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, and countless other legends. BROOKLYN was highly involved with music and performance growing up, earning the lead role in his high school musical, enjoying dance classes, and studying piano. Prior to his official debut, BROOKLYN was already recognized for his golden voice and began performing at various music festivals in Seoul. At this time, he was discovered and signed to MASEFIELD ENTERTAINMENT as their first artist and trainee. Soon, he earned the opportunity to perform concerts all around the world in France, Canada, and the United States. While on the road, he headlined alongside Amber Liu (SM Entertainment) and A.C.E at Canada’s K-Pop Con. In the Spring of 2019, BROOKLYN was the main guest of Korea Days, the biggest K-Pop festival in France. Soon after, he officially released his debut single, ‘YOUNG LOVE’ on August 9th, 2019.

During 2020, BROOKLYN’s comeback activities were brought to an abrupt halt by the COVID-19 pandemic. Determined to provide light and healing to his fans affected by the situation, BROOKLYN held his first Virtual Mini Concert, free to the public. During the Summer of 2020, BROOKLYN and his team resumed preparing for his comeback. On November 27th, 2020, BROOKLYN’s second single, ‘IMAGINE’ was released.
