Recently I was chatting with a buddy of mine and we started talking sandwiches. There’s the Reuben, the Po’ Boy, Hot Brown, Hot Chicken, Pulled Pork, Cubano, Chopped Cheese, Philly Cheese…I mean the list goes on and on. The US is huge, and every region does things its own special way, so it’s no wonder the conversation turned heated (no pun intended). I told him it was time we figured it out once and for all: which sandwich reigns supreme? And what better place to start than the South! Let’s get cooking 🤘🏼 Adam

2 cups grated Pecorino Romano cheese
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg (optional)

Nashville Hot Chicken Seasoning (+ Oil):
1/4 cup Tbsp Cayenne Pepper
1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 tsp Garlic Powder
Kosher Salt, to taste
1/2 cup Hot Cooking Oil from Frying
Cajun-Creole Spice Blend:
3 tbsp Onion Powder
2 tbsp Garlic Powder
2 tbsp Dried Oregano
2 tbsp Dried Thyme
2 tbsp Black Peppercorn, ground
1 tbsp White Peppercorn, ground
1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
5 tbsp Smoked Paprika
