🔹 Trappiest Chess Opening for Black Against 1.e4 -    • The BEST Chess Opening Against 1.e4 |...

♛ Find the Budapest Gambit, Fajarowicz Variation shown in the video in this blog-post - https://chess-teacher.com/budapest-de...

In this video lesson, GM Igor Smirnov teaches you one of the most aggressive and tricky chess openings for Black against 1.d4—the Budapest Gambit, which arises after 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e5. Specifically, you’ll learn the Fajarowicz variation, which comes into play after 3.dxe5 Ne4.

While most players opt for 3...Ng4 to try and regain the e-pawn, the Fajarowicz variation with 3...Ne4 is far more aggressive. It provokes White into chasing the knight, often leading to immediate mistakes and even a quick loss for White.

Watch the full video lesson as GM Smirnov covers all of White’s typical responses and how to counter them effectively and aggressively as Black. Nearly every variation is filled with traps, and Black boasts an impressive 85% win rate in the most commonly played lines.
