Shooting video with your iPhone is not hard. Everyone knows how to work their video feature on their iPhone. The challenging part is knowing how to transfer the footage so that you can edit on Adobe or send to your editor. Here are my tips:

Enable camera downloads- Specifically, we use Dropbox because it's easier for you to download the files in folders. Drive is a little more challenging for editors. As you shoot with camera downloads enabled, your first video will be sync'ing while you're shooting your next video.



Shoot with a charger- I always have my trusty charging rod with me. The reason I love this iPhone charger is because it's easy to carry around, it doesn't get too hot in my pocket, and it carries a great charge. If you're not going to carry a charger, at least be sure to plug your iPhone in the wall.

Use your headphones- the microphone part of your apple or Samsung stock headphones make a great microphone. You can also buy a mic or cavalier made just for video recording but they tend to be expensive and they don't always work. However, using a microphone when you're shooting with an iPhone really makes a huge difference.
