This is a portion of PBS television special I made on Double Dutch jump rope winners from Hartford Connecticut who won a trip to London as 1st prize. Double Dutch is a riveting competitive sport and I liked the people who ran the competition and these wonderful athletic young women in the spirit they brought to the sport. My film follows the sport, the winning girls, and their contest victory prize a trip to England. The program, which aired in the 8PM time slot on PBS, scored extremely high ratings when it 1st aired.
