A spectacular open-air bath springing from deep in the mountains (Niigata, Japan)

The hot spring springs from Mt. Myoko, which is 2,454 meters above sea level in Niigata Prefecture.
The hot spring is located at an altitude of about 1,300 meters.
It is a 30-40 minute walk one way along the mountain path.
The hot spring is a milky sulfur spring that is a little hot.
In front of you is a huge waterfall called "Soutaki" with a drop of 80 meters, and you can bathe right in front of the waterfall.
