THIS FATAYER DOUGH IS A KEEPER. WRITE IT DOWN AND USE IT IN A VARIETY OF PASTRIES, HAND PIES, ETC.
DOUGH INGREDIENTS:
5 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
3 TBSP SUGAR
2 TSP ACTIVE DRY YEAST
2 LARGE EGGS
1 TSP SALT
1/4 CUP (60 ml) VEGETABLE OIL ( YOU CAN USE OLIVE OIL OR ANY OTHER VARIETY YOU PREFER)
1 1/4 CUPS WARM MILK (310 ml)
KNEAD THE DOUGH UNTIL ELASTIC AND DOES NOT STICK TO THE HANDS.

PLAIN CHEESE FILLING:
200 g AKKAWI CHEESE (YOU CAN USE HALLOUMI OR ANY OTHER VARIETY YOU PREFER BUT DO NOT USE MOZZARELLA)
250 g FARMERS CHEESE
3 TBSP WHIPPING CREAM
1 LARGE EGG

CHEESE FILLING WITH VEGETABLES:
200 g AKKAWI CHEESE
250 g FARMERS CHEESE
1 LARGE EGG
1/2 TSP ALEPPO PEPPER
2 TBSP FINELY CHOPPED ONIONS
2 TBSP FINELY CHOPPED PARSLEY

LET THE DOUGH PROOF, THEN CUT IT TO 150 g PORTIONS AND LET IT PROOF AGAIN.
BAKE IN A PRE-HEATED OVEN AT 475 F/250 C FOR ABOUT 5-6 MINUTES UNTIL GOLDEN COLOR.
