Surfing and skiing all in one day? Yep, it's a thing around here. The Columbia River, located minutes from Rossland, provides year-round recreation; everything from world-class fishing, kayaking, swimming and, yes, even surfing! At this time of year, some people channel their inner Wim Hof and spend the morning skiing followed by a quick drive to Trail to catch some afternoon waves. Keep in mind that this sport is only recommended to those that know their way around the river, their watercraft and understand the safety measures that should be taken.
