The Cave Spring High School Classes of 1973 and 1974 are joining together to celebrate their respective 40th and 39th class reunions. The festivities start on September 20, 2013 on the lawn on the Law Offices of Gary Lumsden at 5 PM located at 1220 Franklin Rd, Roanoke, VA. No charge with Pot Luck and BYOB. Sponsorships may let us provide a few basics. Plenty of Parking nearby. Homecoming Football game at Dwight Bogle Stadium later that night at 7 PM behind Cave Spring Middle School (the old Junior High). The Friday evening ends at the Brambleton Deli with live music by The Kings (yes, they were The Royal Kings in our day) starting at 9 PM. With The Kings playing, there will be a big crowd!! Golf Tournament at Ballyhack Golf Club on Sat. morning. Tee time is 9 AM with details on the web site. The main event is Saturday night September 21, 2013. Begins at 6 PM with cocktail hour (well 90 minutes) at the Hunting Hills Country Club at 5220 Hunting Hills Dr. Cyrus Pace Jazz Trio will play until 7:30 PM, when the Cocktail Buffet Dinner starts with DJ driven soft music, food, friends, and a Cash Bar. At 8:30 PM we take a few minutes to thank a few people, recognize a few others, and remember those no longer with us. The lighter music starts again at 9 PM. At 9:15 PM, we have a 15 minute Fireworks Show by Masters Displays. At 9:30 PM, bring your dancing shoes 'cause we gonna' crank the music up for the last hour. $50 per person fee for Saturday night.
