The Ishaneswor Mahadev temple devoted to lord Shiva in Karaputar is more than 700 years old. Around 1 Lakh people visited the temple on the auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri. Due to its religion significance listening and singing hymns is its uniqueness. Accommodation for visitors is available and there are other facilities here for devotees.

इशानेश्वर महादेब मन्दिर जस्लाइ सन्तानेश्वर महादेबको नामले पनी चिनीने गर्दछ। सन्तान प्राप्तीको रुपमा ठाडो बत्ती अर्थात उभिएर बत्ती बाल्ने गरिन्छ ।

This video is about my trip to Ishaneswor Mahadev, Karaputar on the day of Lord Shiva also known as Maha Shivaratri. Maha Shivaratri is the most valuable day of hindu religion and lord shiva devotees. They wait to worship Lord Shiva, the following day and night devotees do fasting and offer cow milk, water on the Shiva Lingam. There is as always the huge crowd on Maha Shivaratri.
