The most impressive mountain in Hokkaido is Mt. Yotei. Surrounded by the towns of Makkari, Kimobetsu, Kyogoku, and Kutchan, it stands proudly at 1,898 meters. Today was a great day for climbing with almost no wind and clear skies. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
