Welcome to HAL Heavy Duty.

We're a machine shop located in Central Qld, Australia - and we specialise in the drilling industry. In this video we're revealing all the latest updates on our MEGADRILL project. We're flat out building a fully custom drilling setup capable of drilling 3m diameter holes, 250m deep.

We'll be showing the production machining of drill rod tool joints, and some of the early stages of drill bit fabrication and assembly. It's one heck of a heavy duty project, and we hope you enjoy coming along for the journey.
