TRIGGER WARNING: slight flashing

Hey people!

I made this because i just wanted to draw these guys, so its just short and experimental.
i may color it in the future, so if i do i’ll repost it.


CHARACTERS:

Harper - a confident, protective, female black and white Tegu. (Shown as a child and adult)
Charlie - a curious, energetic, male grey Lykoi cat with green eyes. wears a blue collar as an adult. (Shown as a kitten)



When they were young, Harper said to Charlie she never wanted stop being friends, So he had promised they’d always be best friends.

When they were adults, during events of moving, their owners get in a car accident, and Charlie and Harper get lost, injured and scared. They decide to journey, in search for their owners… But the only familiar faces (at least to Charlie) they find is Tundra and Autumn. They hang out with them for a bit, before leaving. Harper had just felt awkward.
They later are found by friends of their owners, and taken to their home. They had to get used to a new place, until their owners could take them back.

Harper was too afraid to leave shelter after what happened, But Charlie told her he was leaving, and he was unsure for how long. Harper understood, so without any words Charlie left. Harper watched as he leaped the fence, a sadness growing inside her. She waited, and waited for him to come back, slowly becoming more sad, and she even brumated. Yet by the time she woke up, he still wasn’t back. She felt as if he went off and just left her behind. She waited a bit more, but she was lonely, and though she wanted shelter, she wanted to be with her best friend more. So she escapes while being taken outside, and she goes to find him, which starts the events of the story told in the description of “she’s in disguise”.
