Palliative care is focused on improving the quality of life of patients, particularly those with serious illnesses like cancer. It involves symptom management, emotional and functional wellbeing, and spiritual wellbeing. While it may not directly treat the patient's cancer, palliative care can significantly improve their comfort and overall wellbeing. In fact, studies have shown that patients who receive early palliative care tend to live longer than those who don't.

We had an amazing immerssive conversation with Dr. K. V. Ganapathy, a Psychologist working with cancer patietns closely at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and hope this session would benefit most of us.
