Iceland is split by the Mid Atlantic Ridge, separating the North American and Eurasian continental plates. Silfra is a beautiful spring near the North American side with super clear water. When you dive, you will see neon green plants, basalt hexagons columns, and areas (known as the "Cathedral") that are 70 feet deep--and you can see all the way to the bottom.
