For most of 2024, Cancun Airport has really been cracking down on travelers who bring in more than one computing device (eg. a laptop AND a tablet); however, all of that changed last week when the government announced that they would be dropping that restriction for arrivals into Cancun, effective immediately.
That said, the REST of Mexico has NOT dropped this restriction, so if you are flying to any other destination, you should be aware that you could face an import tax of 19% on the value of your 2nd device (value to be determinedby the Customs agent!).
