In 2022, British Ultrarunner Allie Bailey attempted the Arc of Attrition - a notoriously difficult 100 mile race around the coast of Cornwall in the United Kingdom in the depths of winter. The race was intended to mark a significant milestone on her road to sobriety. Instead it became her first DNF (Did Not Finish). This is the story of her return to the Arc of Attrition.
