Well its here folks! The first day of the river season and just like the last one I'm out targeting chub with the hard baits. This time focussing on bug style lures! The aim of the game was to try and get some awesome top water blow ups on the lil bugs then move over the small sub surface baits to nail these aggressive river fish. The water was nice and clear which made it awesome for spotting these fish and watching them crush the bait. Hope you enjoy!
