VCU Martucci Small Jazz Ensemble with Kurt Rosenwinkel: Dream of the Old

VCU Jazz was fortunate to host guest guitarist/composer Kurt Rosenwinkel in a virtual multi-day residency in which he presented masterclasses, taught lessons, and (as noted in the May 2021 edition of Down Beat) collaborated with our student ensembles via several multitracked performances then aired within our concerts. I had asked Rosenwinkel to be first in the process for this project, laying down his own tracks onto which our students could then build their own.
