Server name: MapleLegends

This is the journey of Nyros, my noob Rogue soon to be Night Lord in Old School Maple Story.

Back then, Maple was some sort of jack of all trades for me. It was my “escape from reality” for whatever reason I had. I was 10 years old at the time. I didn’t speak English and knew very little about builds, skills, classes and how to make a proper character.

As life went on, I tried to capture that feeling of nostalgia again. That’s when I discovered private servers and they’ve quickly became part of my life since I can’t deal with Today’s MapleStory. That piece of garbage is a totally different game. Believe me, I gave it a try to play MapleStory nowadays but the game is full of new gimmicks and 100 new methods of powercreep. And if I was to list all of my complaints, it would need a separate video just for that.

I have a lot of good memories from 2006, but I also have a lot of regrets. As I said before, I was just a kid back then and I didn’t know very well what I was doing with my character. Where to level up, best maps, best ways to make money… How to properly distribute AP on my build.
Even though it was a lot of fun back than, It could have been better.

And this is the goal of this journey. To Enjoy this game once more. Recreate my character from 2006 and play the game with the knowledge and experience I’ve acquired throughout the years. reach peaks and achievements that I could only have dreamt of in the past. And that’s the journey I invite you to accompany me.
