Valugan Boulder Beach is located in the eastern edge of Batan Island in province of Batanes Philippines. The brach shoreline is filled with medical to large size boulders which is a unique shore compared to typical beaches with fine sand shorelines.
This was caused by the massive eruption of Mt. Iraya in 400 AD, that spewed andesite rocks many many years ago.
