Vârful Turnu este primul din Creasta Pietrei Craiului și este amplasat la o altitudine de 1914 m. Traseul parcurs până pe vârf a trecut prin Valea Crăpăturii și Șaua Crăpăturii, urmat de o coborâre prin Șaua Padinii Închise spre Cabana Curmătura.
