We have enough to do today in my dugout. This time I took with me the seedlings I already told you about. I took it so that it would spend some time in the environment where I would plant it and feel the wind (at least that's what many gardeners say).

I kept wanting to make a big table. Now I have good boards. They are what I'm going to try to make it out of. This is my first experience with normal, even, not rotten wood.

First I sawed off the right size pieces, and then I burned them. I did this for better resistance to moisture and just for a nice look. After the frame was ready, I additionally varnished all the surfaces of the wood to make the table even more resistant to moisture, since this particular table will be outdoors. Finally my shelter will have a proper table.

The work was hampered by a mosquito infestation...so while the varnish was soaking, I decided to treat my site with a mosquito repellent. I want to make it clear that this solution simply repels mosquitoes. It contains lemon and garlic concentrate. If it were dangerous...I would at least wear a mask and gloves. I was told it wouldn't help...but surprisingly.... there were dozens of times fewer mosquitoes, which allowed me to continue working comfortably in the dugout.

After all this, on the finished table I transplanted cucumber seedlings into larger containers for better development. At this stage, I am completely satisfied with the results.
