Is Aemond truly the villain history paints him to be? If you've delved into the books, chances are you'd say 'yes.' However, the show does flip the script, revealing a more nuanced character with Aemond. We see his childhood hardships and his distant relationship with his father, and this provides some insights on the character that make him a lot more fascinating and complex. He is no longer the one-dimensional villain that we read about in the book, but now a more human character with understandable reasons behind some of his actions.

In this video, I discuss some of the most interesting facets of his character and explore these reasons to make sense of his actions. But still, even with all of the reasons given in the video, the question still remains: is Aemond an evil villain???
