Reassembling the alternator side of the M659 engine. And making mistakes I'll need to address in a future video. Rambling about changes made to allow for possible future changes from carbs to injection.
In particular, a discussion about the different timing gears used for the various ECU - Marelli 1.6M, 1.5M, 59M, 5AM and Conti M3C - and the variations in master tooth cut out position that tells the ECU where in the cycle the engine is, combined with the difference in rotation sensor positioning - either alternator cover or engine cases.
