This hockey weekend brought kids together from three different communities to foster mentorship, enhance skills through clinics, and encourage unity through competition. Kids from LA and Cleveland joined kids in Detroit to play hockey together and learn from their community leaders. The weekend was organized by Kendall Troutman of 24 Degrees of Color, a kids hockey program based in Los Angeles, with support from Blake Bolden of the NHL Player Inclusion Coalition and Jason McCrimmon of Detroit Ice Dreams.
