The Choir of Trinity College Cambridge recorded in Trinity College Chapel, conducted by Stephen Layton with the composer, David Briggs, accompanying on the Metzler organ.
David Briggs is one of the foremost concert organists of his generation, known world-wide for his brilliant improvisations. Briggs studied under Jean Langlais in Paris and was profoundly influenced by the playing of Pierre Cochereau. As well as a fine organist, he is also a prolific composer and here Trinity College Choir performs O Lord, support us, written in 2005.
