Despite a slow start, Lyles picked up speed and passed his competitors, almost catching Coleman at the finish line during the 2023 Bermuda Grand Prix men's 100-meter race. In the final 50 meters, Lyles covered the distance in just 4.05 seconds, which was faster than Usain Bolt's time of 4.11 seconds.
This is absolutely amazing because no one could even get close to this time, let alone surpassing it, regardless of weather conditions.
