The story of Jonah in the scriptures is one that cuts to the root of deep prejudice and hatred toward those who are different from us. Jonah, as he abandons God’s call on his life, is faced with the question from God, “Will you care about the people and things I care about, or will you only care about yourself?” In this message, Pastor John MacTaggart challenges TKA students to align their hearts to the heart of God and to embody God’s compassion for those around us. John serves as the Student Pastor for Family Church and oversees all student ministry across their growing network of church communities in Palm Beach County.
