I recently bought the Rode Podmic USB to improve my audio quality and it did significantly. I owned the Rode VideoMicro and the SmartLav+ already and they are fine, but nothing compared to the PODMIC USB.

When I was looking for which podcast mic to buy I had one thing I was looking for, and that was the fact it had to be plug and play, because I am no audio expert.

In this video I compare the three named mics against eachother so you can check out the quality straight out of the box. The sound has not been edited afterwards, what you hear is what you get when buying these mics!
