I like Sweden. It's a good country that does a lot of things right. But it's not perfect - pretty far from it actually. Since I already made a comparison of Sweden and the USA I wanted to dive into ten reasons why America is better than Sweden.

People are more social, and they actually care about their surroundings to a much higher degree. Believe it or not.
The science and technology that comes out of the US is pretty amazing. And that's comparing with Sweden which isn't a slouch either in that department.
Schools in America are hit or miss, but there's no denying that the top schools truly outshine the top Swedish ones.
Some people get paid a lot less in the US compared to Sweden. But for higher-paying jobs, the salaries are ridiculously higher over the pond.
American nature is varied and spectacular. I love Swedish nature, but the sheer variety and beauty is amazing in the US.
Cultural integration is pretty much non-existant in Sweden, and it seems like America has taken many steps forward in that regard. Despite all the problems.
You can buy beer in supermarkets! 'Nuff said.
American pop culture is dominating the whole world (for good or for bad). That's something Sweden can't even dream of competing with.
Individualism is something that people definitely associate with the US. And Sweden is a bit in awe of the extreme individualism that can be found there.
And of course, I can't help but comparing the weather. The climate in the US is varied - but overall I'd say that it's much milder and comfortable than in Sweden.
