The Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is located 12 miles east of Montrose, Colorado. The Park's 48 square miles encompasses the Canyon's north and south rims and a 12 mile stretch of the Gunnison River. Black Canyon National Park has three campgrounds with a total of 112 campsites.
