This is the scene from inside the tent where pilgrims stay in Mina. As you can see every pilgrim gets one mattress which is about 1 inch thick and barely fits one person. This is where you have to sit, sleep and eat for the whole length of your stay. You have some minimal luggage with you (essentials for 5 days). You also have to fit your luggage in the the same mattress with you. Every tent fits about 50 or so people who spend their time in complete harmony and in frequent prayers.
