Aam Aadmi Party's Barnala district chief Gurdeep Singh Bath has decided to contest the by-election himself, opposing his own party's candidate. Baath has claimed that he has the support of party workers. The party has chosen Harinder Singh Dhaliwal as its candidate, due to which there is rebellion in the party unit.
