The Shabani group are all regaining their appetites, and on the day I photographed them, they ate most of the vegetables handed out by the keepers in about 30 minutes.
Shabani is not back to her old weight yet, but as far as her belly is concerned, she is gaining some weight.
Shabani and other gorillas are as worried about Nene as they were before, but now that they can meet her in the basement, she seems to be slowly regaining her composure.
