This presentation will overview early childhood, prek-3rd grade, elementary school, and special education teaching career possibilities with a CAD degree from San Francisco State. We will describe the different pathways to teaching, child and adolescent development bachelor's degrees, blended programs that include a bachelor's degree plus a master's degree plus a credential, graduate College of Education master's degree and credential programs, and applying to SF State. We'll also cover the steps along the pathway to actual teaching in the classroom, including some prerequisites for credential and master's programs and which degrees apply to which teaching pathways. At the end we'll summarize these pathways and facilitate a Q&A session.
