The Octavia Hill Garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2024 celebrates pioneering social reformer Octavia Hill, a founder of the National Trust who believed that ‘the healthy gift of air and the joy of plants and flowers’ were vital in everyone’s life.
Created on an urban brownfield site The Octavia Hill Garden shows how nature can return and thrive and the benefits people can gain from having access to a local green space. Access to nature is still something one in three people in Britain don't have nearby.
The Octavia Hill Garden will live on beyond its time at the Chelsea Flower Show 2024, when it will be rebuilt at Blue Diamond's Bridgemere Show Gardens in Cheshire. Opening in 2025, National Trust members will be able to visit it for free, during the first year.
