Flashback Friday - Episode 1 - Berea, OH

To celebrate our college graduation in 2014, a railfan friend and I did a ten-day trip west across Ohio, Indiana and Illinois, stopping at some rather well-known hot spots along the way.

Our first stop was in Berea, OH, the point where the Norfolk Southern Chicago Line (Formerly the New York Central) and the CSX Cleveland Short Line (Formerly the 'Big Four') run close together before turning in opposite directions. We saw quite the parade of trains on both NS and CSX. Some of what is seen in this video cannot be seen again as some locomotives have been rebuilt or retired and sold off, but the action is continuous!

We spend a day and a half in late May, 2014, checking out various locations around town, including BE tower, West Road and Olmsted Falls. .

Enjoy, subscribe and thanks for watching!!
