In Part 1 of the European Chainmaille Series we start with the most common weave pattern, the 4 in 1. I'll show you step by step how to creave the weave one ring at a time. I go over the different "stretch" directions of the weave then choose a direction to create a single row bracelet. This weave is very important to master if you want to learn other European variations including the truly captivating Dragonscale!
I demonstrate using 20g 15/64" (6mm works great) Aluminum Rings.
The bracelet is 20g 1/8" (3.5-4mm works here) Aluminuim Rings and has a lobster claw clasp.
