On September 29, the Jaco Pastorius Tribute Big Band performed at Sala Villanos during the Villanos del Jazz music festival in Madrid, Spain. The group's bandleader and bassist Tomás Merlo was kind enough to send me this video of "Domingo," one of Jaco's earliest known compositions, which is every bit as fiery as the Word of Mouth Big Band performances I've heard.
