I made a quick evening fishing trip to see if I could handle fishing with this chest cold or should I just sit at home and watch the best of Prespawn pass me by for 2024. I found a bunch of bass holding tight to flooded willows and it made for the perfect situation to throw my 1/2-ounce Dirty Jigs Pitching Jig in the color black and blue with a Reactions Innovations sweet beaver as a trailer. After missing a few more bass than I'd like I switched to a Rapala OG Deep Tiny 07 to continue catching bass. Boy was it a fun evening despite the rain and my chest cold.
