Our hamster loves running around in her plastic ball. The problem is that the plastic is very soft and the hard floors and things she bangs into causes it to get very hazy after just a few months. These cost $20-25 Canadian and the idea of buying a new one and throwing the old one away 4 times a year didn’t sit right with me. I decided to see if I could bring some of the clarity back so we didn’t have to replace it.

The result it not perfect, even her tiny claws make scratches on the inside of the ball, but I did manage to get much of the clarity back and the hamster seemed quite pleased with the improved experience!
