HELLO and WELCOME back to Madison Angling! In this video I head to a lake I grew up fishing in search of suspended mid summer bass. I've known for years that these fish do this on this particular lake, however, until recently it's been difficult (to say the least) to consistently catch them. Utilizing forward facing sonar, we head out into the basin to chase down huge schools of largemouth bass with jerkbaits and glide baits. Although suspending largemouth bass is fairly common in some places, we don't often see them do this in large numbers here in Wisconsin. Even though this lake doesn't necessarily produce huge fish, it produces a TON of them!
