It’s funny how when I stop focusing on weight loss and more on fixing whatever is wrong with my blood levels, I stop feeling disordered around my food. I still have a long way to go with my relationship with food but right now, this switch up with my dietary intake has made SUCH a difference. I know a lot of people might still see what I’m doing as a fad diet but I’m really just naming a way of eating that works for me and stops my flare ups with IBS and other undiagnosed issues that we are trying to figure out.

In the meantime, I’m trying to pull myself out of the overwhelming anxiety caused by stuff I can’t control (or share online) and slowly getting back to feeling more like me. Dance has been the best part of my weeks right now and it’s changing my relationship with my body and my confidence. Performing has a way of transforming you and I’m here for it.
