This time we made the Tamiya Toyota GT-One TS020. Moreover, it is a rare full view model. The regular version is still a good kit that can be purchased at a relatively low price, but unfortunately the price of the full view model is skyrocketing even on auction sites. Full-view models have been released in various kits for a long time, but they are not very popular, and I don't have a chance to see the modelers who make them. I like kits like this that are flashy and make the models look great, so I jump at them, but it seems like the latest kits don't come in full-view models.

This TS020 played the leading role in the 1999 Le Mans 24 Hours Endurance Race in France. The winner was the BMW V12 LMR. The car that somersaulted was the Mercedes CLR. However, the one that has been strongly imprinted in my memory is the TS020 driven by Ukyo Katayama, Toshio Suzuki, and Keiichi Tsuchiya.
